  1. Notify UOI's Claims Division immediately.
  2. Submit to UOI the necessary documents such as repairer's quotation, original receipts and invoices.
  3. Minimise any losses or damages within the policyholder's/ insured's power.
  4. Assist and co-operate with UOI's appointed representative or Loss Adjuster.
  5. Preserve and/or take photographs of the damaged parts for inspection by UOI's appointed representative or Loss Adjuster.

  1. When an accident occurs, do not panic. Stay calm and take note of the third party’s vehicle number, the driver's name, address and contact numbers.
  2. If possible, take photographs at the scene of the accident showing the position of the vehicles and the damages. Forward the photographs to UOI as soon as possible.
  3. Ask for the insurance particulars of the other party/parties involved in the accident.
  4. Refrain from making any liability arrangement, offer or promise with regard to the accident as this may prejudice your claim position.
  5. Ask for the name, address and contact numbers of the independent witnesses, if any.
  6. Proceed to our Approved Reporting Centres (PDF: 11KB) together with the vehicle and bring along a copy of the certificate of Insurance to report the accident within 24 hours or the next working day of the occurrence of an accident regardless of whether you are claiming under your own policy.
  7. For windscreen damage (provided it is covered), please complete the claim form and submit together with workshop’s quotation to UOI’s Claims Division.
  8. If you are submitting the following claims, please lodge a Police Report within 24 hours in addition to reporting at the Approved Reporting Centres (PDF: 11KB)
    1. an injury case; or
    2. if your vehicle is stolen; or
    3. a non-injury case involving a government vehicle or damage to government property; or
    4. a non-injury involving a foreign vehicle; or
    5. non-injury case involving pedestrian or cyclist; or
    6. a non-injury "hit-and-run" case,

    Submit to UOI a copy of the police report, a copy of the certificate of insurance (CI), the driver's identification card and driving license within seven (7) days from the date of the accident. This is regardless of whether you are claiming under your own policy.
  9. If you are making a claim under your own policy, please request the workshop to submit a quotation for repairs to UOI for approval before proceeding with repairs.
  10. If you require towing assistance in the event of an accident after UOI’s business hours, please contact 6222 7737.

  1. Notify UOI's Claims Division immediately.
  2. Submit to us the duly completed claim form (PDF: 43KB) within seven (7) days.
  3. Submit other necessary documents like original medical bills, receipt and invoices.
  4. A Medical Report may be required at Insured’s own expense, in order to process the claim.

You may submit your travel insurance claim by:

  1. Completing the e-Claim Form or;
  2. Mailing the completed claim form (PDF: 68KB) with all necessary supporting documents to our appointed Claims Handling Agent at the following address:

All claims are to be submitted within thirty-one (31) days after the expiry of insurance and/ or upon return to Singapore.

Commercial Insurance

  1. Notify UOI's Claims Division immediately
  2. Preserve and/or take photographs of the damaged parts for inspection by UOI's appointed representative or Loss Adjuster.
  3. Within seven (7) days of occurrence date, complete and return the claim form (PDF: 41KB) to UOI.
  4. Submit other necessary documents such as the Repairer's quotation, original receipts and invoices, within 30 days to UOI.
  5. Assist and co-operate with UOI's appointed representative or Loss Adjuster.
  6. Preserve or enforce his/her right of recourse in a case where he/she is entitled to receive compensation from the negligent Third Party.

  1. Notify UOI's Claims Division immediately.
  2. Notify the police immediately and submit a copy of the police report to UOI.
  3. Within seven (7) days of occurrence date, obtain the claim form (PDF: 41KB) from UOI, complete and return the same to us.
  4. Provide UOI full particulars of the loss supported by documentary proof.
  5. 9Assist and co-operate with UOI's appointed representative or Loss Adjuster.

  1. Contact your agent, broker or us immediately.
  2. If the loss and/or damage were due to theft or burglary, immediately make a police report and submit a copy to us.
  3. Take steps to minimise further loss and/or damage.
  4. Retain the damaged items for inspection by our appointed representatives, if appointed. If not appointed, we will advise you further.
  5. Assist and co-operate with our appointed representatives, if appointed. If not appointed, we will advise you further.
  6. For cases involving third party property damage and/or injury, note the particulars of the third party and of the damage and/or injury. Do not admit liability, settle or negotiate settlement with the third party without our approval. If any writ of summons, letter of claim or such other notices are received, submit the documents to us immediately.

  1. Notify UOI's Claims Division immediately.
  2. Submit to UOI other necessary documents like Repairer's quotation, original receipts and invoices.
  3. Minimise any losses or damages within the policyholder's/ insured's power.
  4. Assist and co-operate with UOI's appointed representative or Loss Adjuster.
  5. Preserve and/or take photographs of the damaged parts for inspection by UOI's appointed representative or Loss Adjuster.

  1. Contact your agent, broker or us immediately.
  2. Give immediate written notice to the carriers and all parties who may be responsible for the loss and/or damage, holding them responsible for the loss and/or damage, holding them responsible for the loss and/or damage.
  3. Take steps to minimise further loss and/or damage.
  4. If you have no choice but to receive the goods in a doubtful condition, do not give clean receipts but have remarks in the delivery receipt, for example, goods received with external damage. If you have no choice but to give clean receipts against goods received in a doubtful condition, do so only under written protest.
  5. Assist and co-operate with our appointed representatives, if appointed. If not appointed, we will advise you further.
  6. For exports, the consignee is to contact the survey agent named in our policy and to refer to the policy for other action.

  1. Notify the accident to UOI Claims Division immediately.
  2. Obtain the claim form from UOI, complete and return the same to us within seven (7) days.
  3. If necessary, make a police report and submit a copy of the police report to UOI.
  4. For losses due to confiscation, submit the police acknowledgement slip and pawn tickets. Inform UOI once the confiscated items are returned.
  5. Assist and co-operate with UOI's appointed representative or Loss Adjuster.

  1. Notify UOI's Claims Division immediately with the following:
    1. Detailed Incident Report
    2. CCTV Footage
    3. Photographs of the incident
    4. Quotations, if any
  2. If any writ of summons, letter of claim or other legal processes have been issued or commenced against the policyholder/ insured, submit these documents to UOI immediately.
  3. Unless there is a written consent from UOI, please refrain from making any liability arrangement, offer, or promise
  4. Assist and co-operate with UOI's appointed representative, Loss Adjuster or lawyer.

  1. Notify UOI's Claims Division immediately.
  2. Notify the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) of the occurrence using iReport at www.mom.gov.sg in accordance with the Work Injury Compensation Act and the time limits set out by Legislation.
  3. Submit to UOI a copy of the iReport within seven (7) days with the duly completed claim form and documents as required in checklist.
  4. If any writ of summons, letter of claim or other legal processes have been issued or commenced against the policyholder/ insured, submit these documents to UOI immediately.
