United Personal Accident Insurance
This policy is operative 24 hours a day, worldwide, during the period of insurance.
Depending on the Plan you choose, this insurance policy provides:
Accidental Death and/ or Permanent Disablement
A lump sum benefit in the event of accidental death or a lump sum benefit in the event of permanent disablement due to an accident subject to Schedule of benefits as stated in the policy.
Medical Expenses
Reimbursement on indemnity basis up to the amount stated in the policy for medical expenses necessarily incurred in the treatment due to an accident.
Special Feature
If there is no claim, you will enjoy Free Automatic Increase in Benefit. The sum insured in respect of accidental death and permanent disablement will increase by 5% on the original sum insured on each renewal year up to a maximum increase of 25% on the first year’s sum insured.
Age Limit
This policy is available for most people aged between 18 and 70. The maximum enrolment age is 50 years old.

* The above terms are applicable to Class I occupations only. That is, professional or administrative duties of a sedentary nature. For example, Accountant, Bank Officers, Clerk, Doctor, Lawyer, Shopkeepers engaging in light work only and not using machinery.

Free Extensions
• Drowning and suffocation by smoke or poisonous fumes
• Unprovoked murder and assault
• Reservist training within the Republic of Singapore
• Motorcycling or scootering (whether as rider or pillion rider)
Major Exclusions
This insurance generally does not cover pre-existing physical or mental defects, pregnancy, self-exposure to needless perils, drugs, suicide, war and terrorism risks or any of the following activities:
(a) All forms of professional sports
(b) Racing or any kind (other than on foot) or trial of speed or reliability
(c) Mountaineering or rock or cliff climbing necessitating the use of ropes or guides
(d) Military, Naval, Air Force or Other Armed Forces Services except while the Insured Person is participating in National Reservist Training during normal peace time only
(e) Flying except Air Travel^
(f) Hang gliding
(g) Parachuting
(h) Winter Sports
^ Air Travel shall mean mounting into travelling in or dismounting from any fully licensed passenger carrying aircraft as a passenger, but not as a member of crew, nor for the purpose of engaging in any trade or technical operation in or on the aircraft.
